Qazigund: In an effort to strengthen community relations and promote health awareness, the 163 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a Free Medical Camp at Y.K.Pora, located in the Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The camp was held under the Civic Action Programme and attracted a large number of local residents.

The event featured a team of CRPF doctors, along with several civilian healthcare professionals, who provided free medical check-ups to hundreds of individuals from the local community. In addition to the check-ups, free medicines were distributed, offering much-needed support to the residents. The initiative received wide praise from the locals, many of whom expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the free healthcare services provided.

Ajay Kumar Rajniker, Commandant of the 163 Battalion CRPF, addressed the gathering and welcomed the locals. He assured them of continued support from the CRPF and highlighted the importance of community efforts in tackling pressing social issues, especially the growing problem of drug addiction among the youth. Rajniker urged the young generation to avoid the destructive path of drugs and focus on building a bright future, encouraging them to contribute positively to society and raise the nation’s name.

The success of the medical camp reflects the 163 Battalion CRPF’s unwavering commitment to serving the local community and fostering goodwill in the region. This initiative is also a testament to the CRPF’s ongoing efforts to build stronger, positive relations with the people of Kashmir, offering support and assistance where it is most needed.
