Suspicious object found, destroyed in Shopian

Srinagar: A suspicious object was found in Kashwa Zainapora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district and later destroyed on tuesday morning.

A senior police officer confirmed to news agency JKNS that a suspicious object was found in Kashwa Zainapora following which security forces promptly cordoned off the area.

He said that later the bomb disposal squad was called who destroyed the object.

Meanwhile investigation in this regard has been taken up.—(JKNS)
