Bandipora, Feb 25: The Bandipora Joinery Association held its annual meeting at Dak Bungalow Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday. The event was attended by joinery mill owners from across the district.
The meeting was presided over by MLA Sonawari, Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone, who was accompanied by District President of the Joinery Association, Jameel Ahmad Dar, along with other association members.
During the session, joinery mill owners interacted with the MLA and highlighted the issues faced by the industry. In response, MLA Lone assured them that their genuine demands would be discussed with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to seek possible resolutions.
Among others, Vice President of the Bandipora Joinery Association, Bashir Ahmad, Spokesperson Irfan Ahmad, and several other members were also present at the event.
