The Indian Army, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) (Beacon), and local police are on high alert to ensure the safety of commuters. Authorities have issued advisories urging travelers to use anti-skid chains on their vehicles to prevent accidents on slippery roads.
Road clearance teams are on standby to minimize disruptions, while local police have advised travelers to avoid unnecessary movement. In case of heavy snowfall, essential services will remain operational through coordination between the administration and security forces.
