Langate : RED DROP a unit of blood donors under the registered NGO Kashmir Concern, organized a successful blood donation camp at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Langate in collaboration with Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla.
The camp witnessed the participation of dignitaries, including Tehsildar Langate, Tehsildar Kralgund, CMO Kupwara, DDC Mawer, SDPO Langate, DO Langate, and other officials, who lauded the initiative.
Dr. Touseef Ahmed, Chairman of RED DROP, thanked all participants and highlighted the efforts of Bilkees Ara, President of RED DROP, in encouraging female donors. Shabir Hussain Khan, known as the “Blood Man of J&K,” along with Kaiser Kawa and other volunteers, played a key role in organizing the event.
Over 70 pints of blood were donated, significantly contributing to the region’s healthcare needs. RED DROP and Kashmir Concern expressed gratitude to GMC Baramulla, SDH Langate, and all donors for making the event a success.
