Three Injured as Thunderstorm Struck Chandoosa, Baramulla

Baramulla: Three people were injured after a thunderstorm hit Chandoosa in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on wednesday late night.

Officials told news agency JKNS that strong winds, lightning and thunderstorm struck the area, causing injuries to three individuals. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.

Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing continuous rainfall and snowfall for the past two days, with higher reaches receiving fresh snowfall since Tuesday afternoon. Authorities have advised residents and travelers to take necessary precautions. (JKNS)
