10 injured in group clash in Kulgam’s Kund

Injured shifted to hospital, 10 Booked

Kulgam: Two groups clashed with each other at Masjid Sideeqi at Razloo Kund left several people injured on Saturday late evening even as injured persons have been shifted to Hospital for treatment.

Police sources told news agency JKNS that that two groups of Deoband Jamaat and Ahle Hadees Jamaat have clashed and beaten each other at Masjid Sideeqi situated at Razloo Kund, resulting in injuries to at least 10 persons

“There was expectation to danger of a breach of peace, iculprits had not been arrested by the police on the spot following which several were arrested by police.

A police official told news agency JKNS that all injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

He said that 10 persons were booked under FIR vide U/S 126/170 BNSS act and taken into custody at Police Station Kund.

He said that investigation in this regard has been taken up.—(JKNS)
