Kupwara: A 16-year-old boy was injured after being attacked with a knife by another youth in Trehgam area of North Kashmir Kupwara district, on Tuesday evening.

An official told news agency JKNS that the 16-year-old boy resident of Trehgam, was attacked by another local youth for unknown reasons.

He sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to PHC Trehgam for treatment, he said.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, the he said, adding that cognizance of the incident has been taken, and further investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
