SMC employee appeals police to locate his stolen vehicle Scooty stolen from Srinagar hospital gate
A Ward Officer from Srinagar Municipal Corporation Friday appealed Jammu Kashmir Police to help them in locating his stolen vehicle.
Unknown persons had stolen the private vehicle of SMC Ward Officer from his Bemina residence of Srinagar three weeks ago.
Chowdary Mehrajuddin Buja, who is ward officer, had parked his Swift Desire car (Dl 1YE 2848) outside his residence at Abu Bakar Colony Bemina told that even after the expiry of three weeks, police is clueless about his stolen vehicle.
“I appeal police to help me in locating my vehicle. Police is for protection of people and it is their responsibility to nab the culprits. I hope, police will act seriously and locate my stolen vehicle,” he said.
Pertinently, vehicle and motor-cycle theft have increased manifold after the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic across Kashmir Valley.
In a latest incident of Scooty theft one Ajaz Rashid Matoo of Shampora Panthachowk Srinagar reported at police station Karannagar that his scooty (JK01X/3758) has been stolen by some unknown persons near Old Gate of SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
