MOTIVATING YOUNG MINDS BY ORGANIZING MINI MARATHON – RUN FOR FUN
1. Rafiabad Army Camp – 32RR organised Mini Marathon on 18th Sep 2020 to motivate youth to participate in outdoor sports and help them in developing their physical and mental well being.
2. Rafiabad Army in its genuine concern for the youth of the region, has been organising such activities for Skill development from time to time. This initiative was well recieved and highly aprreciated by the youngsters of all age group.
3. After the successful completion of Mini Marathon, the first three winners were awarded with cash rewards and the top 24 runners were given tshirts and caps to keeping them motivated. The four youngest participants of the event was also rewarded cash rewards.
4. The initiative was very well assimilated by the children who lauded the initiative of Rafiabad Army. Such competitions held by Army will certainly help in framing young minds of Kashmir towards positivity and national interest.
