HAJIBAGH PREMIER LEAGUE, 2020
1. With an aim to increase bonhomie, social skills and promote physical and physiological fitness among local youth, an event named, Hajibagh Premier League was organized by COUNTER INSURGENCY FORCE (KILO) on 16 Sep 2020. Such recreational events provide young talents a stage to showcase their skills and induce sense of competitiveness which further help them to embrace their capability.
2. The cricket tournament is long knock out based series of nip and tuck matches played between sixteen teams from various villages. The first round of tournament concluded on 17 Sep with captivating matches between Lawepura and Soibug A & Rawalpora & Soibug B. All COVID-19 precautions were observed strictly throughout the tournament. A large number of audiences relished the captivating final match. It was indeed a treat to watch!
3. The local youth thanked Army, for providing them exposure and opportunity to show their talents. Such events help the youth of society to venture into sports and make sports as their profession. The people also added that such initiatives will further strengthen the bonhomie and cooperation that exists between the civilian populace and the Army.
