Kulgam: Kulgam Police on Tuesday conducted raids at multiple locations in connection with ongoing investigations related to the banned Jamaat-e-Islami organization.
Official sources told news agency JKNS, the raids were carried out in Sopat Devsar and Zangalpora areas of Kulgam district. Police teams searched the residences of suspected members to collect evidence regarding the organization’s activities in the area.
The operations were conducted under strict security arrangements to ensure smooth proceedings without any law and order disturbance, official sources said.
Police have reiterated their commitment to take strict action against elements involved in unlawful activities and to dismantle networks linked to banned organizations. (JKNS)
