Ex-Parliamentary Candidate Jehangir Khan joins BJP in Kupwara

Kupwara: Prominent Political Figure from Karnah Kupwara Jahangir Khan has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with all his associates. The joining took place at the Thregam Kupwara under the leadership of District President Kupwara and Former MLC Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah.

Jahangir Khan, who previously held the position of District President Kupwara in Bhim Singh’s Panthers Party also served the party as a State Secretary. His joining into the folds of the BJP marks a significant shift in his political journey.

Welcoming the new entrant, Rafiq Shah emphasized the BJP’s commitment to inclusive development, good governance, and strengthening grassroots democracy in Jammu and Kashmir.

He stated that the growing support for the party reflects the trust people have in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a progressive and prosperous J&K.

The newly joined expressed their faith in BJP’s leadership and policies, stating that they were impressed by the party’s dedication to development, national integration, and people-centric governance.

They pledged to work diligently to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
