One Dead, Five Injured in Accident Near Nayvug Tunnel, Qazigund

Srinagar: One person lost his life, and five others sustained injuries in a road accident near the Nayvug Tunnel in Qazigund on Tuesday evening.

A police official told news agency JKNS that an overspeeding vehicle traveling from Jammu lost control and rammed into a temporary police structure.

“One person died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries. The injured have been rushed to the hospital, and their condition remains critical,” the official said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
