Biker Killed After Collision on Jammu-Rajouri Highway

Rajouri, May 6 (JKNS): A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road accident after his bike collided with a Scorpio vehicle on the Jammu-Rajouri National Highway near the Sunderbani area on Tuesday.

An official told news agency JKNS that the accident involved a motorcycle bearing registration number JK11B-2033 and a Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK02AS-9876.

The deceased has been identified as Rahil Sharma, son of Inderjeet, a resident of Rah Siot Malara, Rajouri. He sustained critical injuries in the collision and was declared dead on the spot, the official said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
