Sopore: Zaingair Sports Association, in collaboration with Model Public High School Botingoo, held a drug de-addiction awareness seminar at Botingoo Zaingair on Tuesday.
Speakers as per news agency JKNS stressed the urgent need to combat drug abuse and highlighted the role of educational institutions in raising awareness among students. The Education Department conducted sessions aimed at prevention and guidance.
The programme underscored the importance of community participation in tackling drug-related issues and supporting affected individuals and families.
ADC Sopore S.A. Raina (JKAS) was the chief guest. Among others present were Principal HSS Botingoo Akhter Hussain, Naib Tehsildar Manzoor Ahmad Khan, SHO Warpora Yousuf-ul-Umar, Lumberdar Farooq Ahmad, and members of the Zaingair Sports Association. (JKNS)
