Woman Martyred in Cross-Border Shelling in Poonch’s Mendhar

Poonch:A woman lost her life in fresh cross-border shelling in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district early Saturday morning.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that Rashida Bi, wife of Munshi Khan, a resident of Keri Kangra village in Tehsil Mendhar, was martyred around 7 AM when Pakistani forces resorted to unprovoked shelling.

Authorities have confirmed the incident and said that the situation remains tense along the Line of Control in the region. (JKNS)
