Govt Employees in Rajouri Directed to Remain Present, Keep Phones On: District Admin

Rajouri, May 13 (JKNS): The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma (IAS), on Tuesday ordered all government employees posted in the district to attend their duties without fail and remain available for assignments as and when required.

In view of any emergent situation, the order directed employees to keep their mobile phones switched on at all times for official communication. “Any government employee found absent without authorization or keeping their mobile phones off shall face disciplinary action under service rules,” the order as per news agency JKNS reads.

All district and sectoral officers have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the directive by their staff. The order has been enforced with immediate effect. (JKNS)
