Dead Body of Teenage Girl Found in Rajouri’s Dandote

Rajouri: In a tragic incident, the dead body of a teenage girl was found this evening in the Dandote Sangreli area of Koteranka tehsil in Rajouri district.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that information was received from reliable inputs regarding the recovery of a body belonging to a girl identified as Sonia Akhter, daughter of Abdul Gafoor, aged around 17-18 years, a resident of Kewal Budhal.

The body was discovered today late evening, following which a police team from Police Station Budhal immediately rushed to the spot and took cognizance of the matter.

An investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of death. More details are awaited. (JKNS)
