Poonch: Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Daljit Singh Chaudhary, on Thursday visited the border district of Poonch to inspect the damage caused by recent Pakistani shelling.
An official told news agency JKNS that the BSF chief visited Gurdwara Singh Sabha and Geeta Bhawan, both of which had suffered damage during the cross-border shelling incident.
During his visit, DG Chaudhary assessed the extent of the damage and interacted with members of the management committees of both religious sites.
Officials said the visit was aimed at evaluating the ground situation and extending support to the local communities affected by the shelling. (JKNS)
