With an aim to positively engage the local kids and to inculcate a spirit of adventure, Khanpet Army camp, 29 Rashtriya Rifles organised an excursion for local kids to Gulmarg.
The event was attended by 156 kids alongwith school teachers. The one day tour flagged off from Parihaspura at 1000 hours and the kids enjoyed the scenic view during the journey. On reaching Gulmarg, lunch was organised followed by football, cricket, badminton & volleyball matches. Further, the children were taken on a short trek to the children’s park.
The unique experience left an indelible imprint on the young hearts and minds of the children. The kids and their parents appreciated Army for providing an avenue for such activities and for bringing smile on their faces.
