DHSK Orders Constitutes Committee to Probe into Death of Pregnant Woman at DH Kulgam

Panel of senior doctors directed to submit findings by June 19

Srinagar: The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir has constituted an Inquiry Committee to probe the death of a 28-year-old pregnant woman from Srandoo Kulgam, who died at District Hospital Kulgam on Tuesday.

According to the official order, issued by the Director of Health Services Kashmir a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, Consequent upon reports of death of a pregnant lady namely Ms Nayeema W/O Shoukat Ahmad Bhat R/O Srandoo Kulgam, Age 28 Years in District Hospital Kulgam today on 17th June, 2025, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of an Inquiry Committee comprising of the following Officers to conduct in depth inquiry into the death in District Hospital Kulgam and submit report by or before on 19th June, 2025 PM (Evening).

The four-member committee includes, Dr. Khalid Parvaiz, I/C CMO Anantnag Chairman. Dr. Shahid Tak, Consultant Cardiologist, JLNM Hospital Srinagar Member. Dr. Manzoor A. Rather, Consultant Anesthesiologist, DH Ganderbal Member. Dr. Muzaffar Ali Khan, I/C Consultant Surgeon, District Hospital Budgam Member, reads the order. (JKNS)
