Senior BJP leader and former District President BJP Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, extended a warm welcome to the Amarnath Yatra pilgrims as they began their spiritual journey through the picturesque region of Ganderbal.
Shah praised the tireless efforts of both the Union Territory administration and the district administration of Ganderbal for ensuring smooth and safe arrangements for the yatra this year. He commended their dedication towards providing essential facilities, maintaining security, and upholding the spirit of hospitality that the region is known for.
Speaking to the media, Shah said, “The Amarnath Yatra is not only a sacred pilgrimage but also a symbol of Jammu and Kashmir’s cultural and spiritual harmony. I wholeheartedly welcome the devotees and thank the UT and district administration for their meticulous planning and execution of yatra-related preparations.”
He also acknowledged the role of security forces, health services, and civil departments working round-the-clock to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey. Shah urged locals to continue extending support and cooperation, reflecting the valley’s age-old tradition of communal unity and brotherhood.
