Man Injured in Alleged Assault by Unknown Persons in Kothibagh, Srinagar, Hospitalized

Srinagar, July 3 (JKNS): A man from Qamarwari area of Srinagar sustained head injuries after allegedly being assaulted by unknown persons in the Kothibagh area of the city on Thursday.

An official told news agency JKNS that the injured, identified as Mohammad Ashraf Khan, a resident of Bilal Colony Qamarwari, was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

Doctors said he had suffered a head injury but his condition is currently stable.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and an investigation has been launched to identify and trace the culprits. (JKNS)
