Bandipora, July 10:
A two-day Hawan Pooja was performed with religious devotion and spiritual fervour at the sacred Sharda Mata Mandir in Kaloosa, Bandipora, on July 9 and 10, 2025.
The pooja began on the afternoon of July 9, commencing at 2 PM and continuing till 11 PM, drawing around 50 worshipers from the local community. On the second day, July 10, the rituals resumed early in the morning from 6 AM and concluded by 1 PM, with nearly 80 devotees in attendance. Over the course of both days, approximately 130 worshippers participated in the sacred ceremony.
Renowned priest Kamal Ji from Bandipora led the prayers and rituals, invoking blessings and peace for all. The atmosphere at the temple was filled with spiritual chants and traditional offerings, reflecting the deep cultural and religious heritage of the region.
Prominent officials, including SSP Bandipora, DySP Headquarters Bandipora, DySP DAR Bandipora, and SHO Bandipora, also participated in the pooja, highlighting the communal harmony and shared cultural respect in the district.
The event concluded peacefully, with devotees expressing gratitude for the opportunity to take part in the holy rituals and seek divine blessings at the revered Sharda Mata Mandir.
