17-Year-Old Non-Local Boy Assaulted in Pulwama, hospitalized

Pulwama, July 23 (JKNS): A 17-year-old non-local boy sustained grievous injuries after being allegedly assaulted with a sharp weapon in the Gudoora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the victim, resident of Bihar, was allegedly assualted by his roommate with sharp edged weapon.

He was brought to District Hospital Pulwama with deep injuries on his abdomen. He was later referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar, for advanced treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation into the matter has been initiated. (JKNS)
