J&K Bank Chairman and Managing Director R K Chhibber visited Rajouri to have an overview of the functioning of various branches of Jammu West zone.
The visit is part of CMD’s endeavour to take first hand stock of performance and problems of the workforce across the length and breadth of the country.
During his visit, the CMD held interaction with the branch heads of various business units of the zone at Sunderbani.
He was all praise for the staff for performing their duties exceedingly well under trying circumstances during the peak of Covid-19 Pandemic and the recently concluded Back to Village 3 programme.
“You have exhibited your discipline and dedication to display second to none professionalism in providing customers with banking and allied services during the tough times. You have yet again proved that customer satisfaction is JK Bank’s prime mantra,” CMD said while sharing his experiences.
He urged the staff to strengthen the retail and Forex business and pressed for timely disposal of proposals related to government sponsored cases.
“Priority sector lending needs a special focus in order to achieve the set targets, and at the same time a high asset quality has to be maintained,” he asserted.
The staff reinforced their commitment to live up to the expectations of people and management alike.
