Kathua, Aug 4 (JKNS): A man was killed and another injured in a road accident on the Bani‑Sandroon road in Kathua district on Monday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that an Alto car (PB02AM‑7485) carrying two passengers met with an accident, leaving one dead on the spot.
“The deceased has been identified as Ravinder Kumar, son of Subash Chander, a resident of Kotri Sandroon,” the official said.
The injured passenger, Darmaiz Singh, son of Soom Raj of Roulka Morha Kaloga, has been shifted to Sub‑District Hospital Bani for treatment, official said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation started. (JKNS)
