Sopore, August 6: The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) held a mega workers’ convention on Wednesday at Ningli Bala area of Sopore town in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with hundreds of workers attending the gathering. Notably, over 50 political workers from various parties joined the SBSP during the convention.

The new entrants were warmly welcomed by senior party leaders, who expressed full confidence in their dedication to the party’s vision. The convention was presided over by SBSP State President Vivek Bali, who was accompanied by District President Baramulla Mudasir Dar, North Kashmir Incharge Wajahat Raina, Youth District President Baramulla Zumair Malik, District President Bandipora Bashir Ahmad Buhroo, Tribal District President Bandipora Nazir Khan, and several other senior party leaders.

During the convention, local residents raised various grievances before the party leadership, including issues related to mobile connectivity, electricity, healthcare, and other basic amenities. Addressing these concerns, SBSP State President Vivek Bali assured the gathering that all genuine issues will be taken up with higher authorities and concerned departments for prompt redressal.

Speaking to the media, Vivek Bali stated, “Today’s convention at Ningli Bala was a clear indication of growing public support for SBSP. Despite decades since independence, people here still lack basic facilities due to the negligence of previous governments. We observed firsthand how residents are struggling.”

He also launched a strong criticism against the National Conference, accusing the party of failing to fulfill the promises made in their election manifestos. “The people have been betrayed time and again. The ground realities reflect a failure in governance,” he added.

Vivek Bali praised the efforts of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, particularly the recent distribution of appointment letters to families of terror victims. “This is the kind of proactive governance that has been missing for the last 75 years. The LG administration has done what no government has done before,” he said.

Vivek Bali reaffirmed SBSP’s commitment to working for the welfare of the people, especially those who have long been ignored. “Our party’s focus is to bring justice and development to the neglected regions of Jammu and Kashmir. We will ensure that the voices of the people of Ningli Bala and other such areas are heard and addressed.”

The convention ended on a positive note with renewed enthusiasm among party workers and fresh hopes for the residents of the area.
