Kupwara, August 9, 2025 — In a groundbreaking moment for sports in North Kashmir, the Vajr Fencing Node in Kupwara—an initiative of the Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavna—successfully hosted its first-ever Inter-District Provincial Level Fencing Tournament, drawing enthusiastic participation and widespread acclaim.
Held under the aegis of the Khelo India Mission, the tournament saw 38 young fencers, including 28 boys and 10 girls from multiple districts, demonstrate exceptional skill, discipline, and competitive spirit in a state-of-the-art sporting environment.
