Leh, Aug 11 (JKNS): At around 12:00 hrs on Monday, six casualties including three adults and three young children were brought to the Indian Army’s Sarchu Transit Camp.
Two of the casualties were immediately evacuated by road to SNM Hospital, Leh, for urgent medical care. The remaining four were evacuated by Army helicopters.
The evacuation request was received by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, from the Deputy Commissioner, Keylong.
Captain Niharika, Regimental Medical Officer from 4014 Field Hospital, provided medical treatment to the casualties at the transit camp.
The Indian Army ensured all casualties received timely and appropriate medical attention. (JKNS)
