Sopore, Aug 13 (JKNS): The full dress rehearsal for the Independence Day 2025 celebrations was held today at Khushal Sports Stadium, Sopore. Tehsildar Sopore, Shri Sheikh Tariq, unfurled the National Flag, inspected the parade, and took the salute at the march past.
Addl. SP Sopore Shri Mir Murtaza (JKPS), DySP DAR Sopore Shri Mohammad Abdullah, SHOs of Police Station Sopore and Tarzoo, along with officers from Sopore Police, Security Forces, and Civil Administration were present on the occasion.
The parade, comprising contingents from District Police Sopore, CRPF, JKHG, and students from various educational institutions, presented a crisp and impressive march past.
The event also featured vibrant cultural performances by students from different schools of Sopore, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and patriotic spirit. (JKNS)
