Srinagar, Aug 14 (JKNS): The Traffic Police, Rural Kashmir, on Thursday issued an advisory warning commuters about disruption on the SSG road following damage to the Kijpura bridge near the dumping site in Kangan.

In an advisory by Traffic Police Rural Kashmir as per news agency JKNS stated that, “Due to increasing water levels in Wangat Nala, the Kijpura bridge has been completely damaged, affecting vehicular movement on the road,” a senior official of the Traffic Police told JKNS.

The advisory instructed that all vehicular movement from Srinagar/Ganderbal towards Sonamarg/Ladakh and vice versa has been halted until the restoration of the bridge and clearance from concerned BEACON authorities.
