Tangdar, Aug 19 (JKNS): The Chief Education Office Kupwara in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha on Tuesday organised a special distribution camp at Boys High School Tangdar, where assistive devices and facilities were provided to children with special needs from Tangdar and Chamkote zones.

During the programme, representatives from the Chief Education Office, along with Zonal Education Officer Tangdar, Shah Mohammad Rana, and a team of teachers, interacted with the children and their parents. They highlighted the importance of such initiatives in ensuring that differently-abled students gain access to quality education and improved opportunities in life.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Education Officer Tangdar, Shah Mohammad Rana, said that the government is committed to empowering children with special needs through education. “Providing quality education to such children remains one of the government’s foremost priorities,” he remarked.

The initiative was widely appreciated by the local community, who noted that such programmes foster an inclusive educational environment while raising the morale of children with disabilities. (JKNS)
