Anantnag, Aug 25 (JKNS): A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was on Monday held at Government Higher Secondary School Nanil in south Kashmir’s Anantnag, where parents participated in large numbers to discuss academic progress and overall development of students.
Speaking to JKNS, Principal Mohd Ibrahim Rayoo, who chaired the meeting, said the interaction was aimed at “strengthening collaboration between parents and teachers for the benefit of students.”
On the occasion, meritorious students were felicitated with medals for their achievements. “This recognition motivates us to work harder,” said Bilal Ahmad, a student of Class 12. Another student, Shazia Jan, told JKNS, “Such encouragement from the school boosts our confidence both in academics and other activities.”
Parents present at the event expressed satisfaction over the initiative. One of them, Nazir Ahmad, remarked, “It was heartening to see the school honouring students and engaging with parents in such a meaningful way.”
Officials told JKNS that this was the first such parent-teacher interaction at HSS Nanil. The programme concluded with words of encouragement from the Principal, urging students to strive for excellence in academics as well as co-curricular activities. (JKNS)
