Military Healthcare Leaders from 15 Nations Converge at MILMEDICON-2025

MILMEDICON-2025, the International Conference on Physical and Mental Trauma in Military Settings, concluded today at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, marking a significant step towards global collaboration in military healthcare.

Organised by the Directorate General of Medical Services of the Indian Army, MILMEDICON-2025 brought together delegates from 15 countries, including military leaders, medical professionals, trauma specialists, healthcare innovators, and policymakers.

The conference served as a premier platform to explore the latest advancements and global best practices in managing physical and mental trauma in complex operational environments.

The event also marked the Centenary of the Military Nursing Service, paying tribute to a century of unwavering dedication and the empowering spirit of Nari Shakti in military medicine.

Key Highlights of MILMEDICON-2025 included, In-depth sessions on Advanced Combat Trauma Care, Artificial Intelligence in Military Healthcare, Emergency Medical Response Innovations, Medical Ethics, Women in Combat and Leadership Roles, and Building Mental Resilience. International participation with delegates from 15 Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs), strengthening global partnerships.

Knowledge-sharing panels, collaborative discussions, and poster presentations on future-ready medical solutions. A special tribute to the Military Nursing Service for 100 years of distinguished service.

MILMEDICON-2025 has been a resounding success. It reinforces India’s shared commitment to innovation, resilience, and global unity in addressing the evolving challenges of trauma care.

This conference has not only deepened scientific dialogue but also built bridges of trust and collaboration amongst nations committed to medical excellence, especially in the military.

The outcomes and recommendations from MILMEDICON-2025 will contribute to shaping future training protocols, battlefield medical systems, and policy frameworks within and beyond national borders.
