Srinagar, August 31:In a significant political development, several senior workers of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) from Hadigam, Kulgam, formally joined the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) on Sunday. The joining ceremony was held at the SBSP state head office in Srinagar and was attended by prominent party leaders and workers.

Those who joined the SBSP include Shiyak Ahmad Raina, Fayaz Ahmed Ganai, Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, and Abdul Rashid Najar. Their decision to switch sides is being regarded as a major boost for the SBSP in South Kashmir, where the party has been steadily working to expand its organizational presence.

The event was presided over by SBSP State President Vivek Bali, who warmly welcomed the new entrants into the party fold. Bali expressed optimism that these joinings would further strengthen the SBSP across South Kashmir.

“These joinings are a step towards making the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party stronger across South Kashmir. The people of Hadigam, like many other parts of the Valley, are looking for change, and SBSP is emerging as a credible alternative that focuses on grassroots development, social justice, and equal opportunities for all,” Bali said.

He further revealed that in the coming days, a large number of senior CPIM workers from Hadigam, Kulgam, are expected to join the SBSP, thereby enhancing the party’s organizational strength in the area.

The new entrants expressed confidence in Vivek Bali’s leadership and pledged to work tirelessly for the growth and vision of the party. Political observers believe that with these latest joinings, the SBSP is gradually positioning itself as a strong political force in South Kashmir ahead of the forthcoming elections.
