Jammu, Sep 1 (JKNS): Authorities on Monday ordered the closure of all government and private schools across Jammu Division for September 2 in view of inclement weather conditions.
As per an order issued by the Directorate of School Education Jammu as per news agency JKNS, the decision was taken following weather alerts and incessant rainfall causing landslides in hilly areas to ensure the safety of students and staff.
The order further directed that online classes be conducted wherever possible during the closure. (JKNS)
