Anantnag, Sep 14 (JKNS): A 16-year-old boy was critically injured in a mine blast in the Khundru area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the boy, identified as Shahid Ahmad, son of Mohd Yousf Sheikh, a resident of Larnoo, had gone to his maternal home at Khundru when the incident took place.
He was first evacuated to SDH Achabal and later shifted to GMC Anantnag for advanced treatment, they said, adding that his condition remained critical.
Doctors have now referred him to SKIMS Srinagar for further specialized treatment, they added. (JKNS)
