Khrew Battery Blast: 21-yr-old lady succumbs, toll reaches two

Pulwama, Apr 09 : A 21-year-old lady who had received injuries during a battery blast at her home in Zantrag Khrew area of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district succumbed to her injuries at SMHS hospital on Thursday, taking the total death to two.The blast took place inside the residential house of Ghulam Nabi Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir at Zantrag village on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in injuries to four family members.Officials said that Shafeeqa (21), daughter of Ghulam Nabi Mir succumbed to her injuries at SMHS hospital on Thursday afternoon.Out of four, two persons identified as Shabir Ahmad and his sister Shafeeqa have already succumbed to injuries while as Gulshana and Faisal are undergoing treatment at SMHS.
