Kulgam, Sep 20 (JKNS): Bhartiya Janta Party General Secretary (Organization), J&K, Ashok Koul inaugurated a Free Medical Camp under the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, at District Hospital Kulgam in South Kashmir.

The camp was organized to provide free consultation, medicines, and health check-ups to the needy, reflecting the party’s commitment to serving society in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The camp witnessed active participation of doctors, medical staff, and a large number of local residents who benefitted from the services. Senior leaders including J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, State Secretary Mudasir Wani, Prabhari Kulgam Adv. Syed Wajahat, District President Farooq Ahmad, Zubair Ahmad Ganaie, Wajahat Hussain, Sajad Ahmad, and several other leaders and workers were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul said, “Seva Pakhwada is not just a campaign, it is an opportunity for all of us to dedicate ourselves to the service of humanity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life has been an example of selfless service, and through such initiatives, the BJP is taking his vision to the grassroots.

Our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to healthcare, education, and welfare.”

Later, Ashok Koul, along with senior leaders, chaired an organizational review meeting at Rest House Chawalgam, Kulgam. The meeting focused on strengthening the party’s grassroots structure, enhancing booth-level activity, and reaching out to every household with the message of development and peace.

Addressing the meeting, Anwar Khan stressed that the BJP’s organizational strength lies in its disciplined cadre and its dedication to serve the people. Every activist must work tirelessly to connect with the common masses and ensure that the party’s welfare programmes reach the last person in the queue.

Farooq Ahmad said that Kulgam district will take every initiative that strengthens party’s bond with the people. The enthusiasm of local workers is proof of BJP’s growing acceptance in South Kashmir, he said. (JKNS
