Budgam, Sept 24 (JKNS): Traffic Police in Budgam carried out a stringent crackdown on traffic rule violators at Magam on Wednesday.
The operation, supervised by DYSP Traffic Mujahid Nazir along with other police officials, led to the issuance of 52 challans and recovery of fines amounting to Rs 12,300. Several two-wheelers were also seized for violations including riding without helmets, absence of valid documents, and reckless driving.
Police officials urged commuters to strictly follow traffic rules for their own safety and smooth traffic flow, warning that strict action will continue against violators. (JKNS)
