Srinagar, Oct 7 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of CAPEX and Constituency Development Fund (CDF) expenditure for the financial year 2025-26.

Office of J&K CM in a post on X as per news agency JKNS wrote, the review meeting evaluated department- and district-wise performance under both CAPEX and CDF heads.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to accelerate project execution and ensure timely utilization of allocated funds. He emphasized that all departments must complete 100% uploading of works on the BEAMS portal and expedite the tendering process to avoid delays.

Highlighting the limited working season, particularly in the Kashmir division, the Chief Minister instructed departments to work in a coordinated manner for effective ground implementation.

He also called for close coordination with Hon’ble MLAs to fast-track CDF-related works and ensure visible outcomes that directly benefit the public. (JKNS)
