Panel Formed to Ensure Transparency and Better Health Service Delivery
Srinagar, Oct 10 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir administration has constituted a monitoring committee for the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY) and AB PMJAY SEHAT health insurance schemes.
An order issued by the Health and Medical Education Department, as per news agency JKNS stated that the committee will focus on accountability, transparency, and effective oversight of both flagship health schemes.
The body has been tasked with reviewing the overall functioning of the schemes, ensuring timely delivery of healthcare benefits to the beneficiaries, and furnishing quarterly progress reports to the department.
The initiative reflects the administration’s seriousness in strengthening healthcare delivery and providing wider coverage under Ayushman Bharat in Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
