Students, Staff Shine at BHSS Nowpora Annual Day Celebration in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 13 (JKNS): Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Masrat Parveen, Principal of BHSS Nowpora, the school celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and pride.

The event stood as a celebration of young minds, a tribute to dedicated educators, and a memory to last a lifetime.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Joint Director – DSEK, Mr Syed Shabir (KAS) who honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest, CEO Srinagar Mr. Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat were present as Guest of Honour and Distinguished personality, Principal GHSS KHANYAR, Ms Waheeda Ji, along with other reputed personalities including the Heads of Institutions from the Cluster and Complex schools.

Adding to the day’s significance was the opening remark of Joint Director, Mr. Syed Shabir, whose address left a lasting impression on the audience.

In his insightful and encouraging speech, he commended the school’s steady progress under the able leadership of Dr. Masrat Parveen and emphasized the importance of nurturing education that balances knowledge with values. His words inspired both students and staff to continue striving for excellence.

The CEO, Srinagar, lauded the Principal for her commendable leadership in successfully executing and presenting the school’s diverse activities As a matter of fact, this gathering carried a deeper sentiment it served as both a farewell to our beloved Director General Dr. G. N. Itoo and the outgoing Class 12 students, and a warm welcome to the newly admitted Class 9 & 11.

The Annual Day reflected Dr. Masrat Parveen’s steadfast
dedication to fostering a nurturing and progressive learning environment.

It was a vibrant
exhibition of academic excellence, creativity, and school spirit highlighting thecollective commitment of students and faculty alike.

The event featured cultural performances, speeches, and prize distributions recognizing outstanding students for their achievements, punctuality, and discipline.

Teachers who
consistently demonstrated excellence in mentoring and
classroom innovation were also honoured for their invaluable contributions.

Adding to the spirit of unity, students from feeding schools under the cluster headship of BHSS Nowpora participated enthusiastically, further reinforcing the strong collaborative bond within the education cluster.
