Srinagar, Oct 14 (JKNS): A 3 days Interstate Cultural Festival declared open organised today at Srinagar organised by the Delphic Council of Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with J&K Accademy of Arts, Culture and Language and North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala.
The Srinagar City is blossom into a living stage of Art, colour, and Culture, where India’s diverse traditions merged today with the heart beating of Jammu and Kashmir and hosted a magnificent interstate cultural festival celebrating the unity and spirit of the Nation through music, dance, Art and Culture.
The aim of the Delphic Council is not merely to exhibit Art, Craft and
Culture but to celebrate India’s cultural heartbeat that unites every region and language.
Sh. Sham Lal Sharma, Farmer Minister, MLA Jammu North, Jenab Ahsan Pardesi, MLA Lal Chowk, Srinagar , Sh. Mohan Lal, MLA Akhnoor and Sh. Brij Mohan Sharma-IFS were the Guest of Honor and Ms. Harvinder Kaur was the special Guest on the occasion.
Er. Ashok Singh explained that the Council has brought together a distinguished group of artists, intellectuals, and cultural enthusiasts from Jammu, Kashmir and across the Nation.
From Rajasthan’s graceful Kalbeliya, Phag to Haryana’s elegant Ghoomar and Chari, from the thunderous Kud of Jammu to the fluttering Bihu of Assam, every dance is a wearing a vibrant story of India’s diversity.
Er. Ashok Singh, President of the Delphic Council said that this 3 days Cultural Festival will act as a bridge between J&K and the rest of India to bring tourism and Peace.
An exhibition of Basohli Miniature paintings and traditional artworks was the centre of attraction on the occasion which was inaugurated by Sh. Sunil Kumar Sharma which showcased, representing the timeless beauty of Indian Art and Crafts of J&K. (JKNS)
