Holiday for Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib Rescheduled to October 20

Srinagar, Oct 16 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday rescheduled the provincial holiday on account of Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) for the Kashmir Division.

As per Government Order No. 1358-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) as per news agency JKNS, and in partial modification of Order No. 2193-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated December 29, 2024, the holiday will now be observed on October 20 (Monday) instead of October 18 (Saturday).

The decision was taken with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor, the order added. (JKNS)
