Srinagar, Oct 30 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor has dismissed two government employees from service over their alleged involvement in terror-related activities, following orders issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha under Article 311 of the Constitution.
Official sources told news agency JKNS, the terminated employees include Ghulam Hussain, a teacher from Reasi district, accused of working as an Over Ground Worker (OGW) for the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit and facilitating recruitment and funding.
The second employee, Majid Iqbal Dar, a teacher and former lab assistant, has been found involved in narco-terrorism, radicalisation of youth, and terror financing through drug proceeds.
Officials sources said that the action reflects the government’s firm zero-tolerance policy against employees found aiding or abetting terrorism in any form. (JKNS)
