Bandipora, Oct 28 An-18-year-old girl died after she slipped into deep gorge while collecting firewood at Kilshay village of Gurez in north kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday morning.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer(KNO), that a teenage girl identified as Shameema Jan daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed Malik died on the spot after she slipped into a deep gorge while collecting the firewood in the forest area.
The official said that after getting information the body was recovered from the deep gorge and was shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem.
He said that police have taken cognizance of the matter.
