Srinagar, Nov 5 (JKNS): The All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) today held a large Majlis-e-Aza at Durbal, Bemina, to mark Ayam-e-Fatima (SA) the days of mourning in remembrance of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima-tu-Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The day began with the recitation of marsiya and elegiac verses that filled the air with deep emotion as mourners paid heartfelt tribute to the purity, piety, and devotion of Bibi Fatima (SA). Throughout the day, Zakirs and participants spoke about her life of sacrifice, steadfast faith, and her role as a guiding light for humanity.

In the afternoon session, Molvi Imran Ansari, President of the All J&K Shia Association, delivered an emotional address highlighting the spiritual and historical significance of Hazrat Fatima (SA). He described her as Sayyidat-un-Nisa al-Alamin the Leader of the Women of the Worlds, whose life embodied humility, compassion, and unwavering commitment to truth and justice.

Molvi Ansari spoke about her as the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH), the wife of Imam Ali (AS), and the mother of Imam Hasan (AS) and Imam Husain (AS). He recalled the trials and pain that marked her short life, calling her not just a symbol of motherhood and modesty but also a beacon of strength and moral courage whose legacy continues to inspire generations.

He urged the community especially the women of Jammu and Kashmir to draw lessons from her life: to stand firm in faith, uphold justice, and serve society with compassion and sincerity.

Thousands of mourners attended the Majlis-e-Aza, reflecting the deep love and respect people hold for Bibi Fatima (SA). Molvi Imran Ansari expressed his gratitude to the people of Durbal, Bemina for organizing niyaz for the mourners and thanked the civil administration, particularly DC Budgam and SSP Srinagar, for ensuring smooth arrangements and necessary facilities for the gathering.

The All J&K Shia Association reaffirmed its resolve to uphold the message of Ahlul Bayt (AS) by continuing to organise such Majalis that strengthen the spirit of mourning (Azadari), deepen the love for Ahlul Bayt (AS), and keep alive the values of sacrifice, truth, and justice taught by Bibi Fatima (SA). (JKNS)
